
Thomas Holden
Attorney
Thomas Holden is an attorney who helps clients involved in family-law litigation cases. Mr. Holden handles all aspects of family law cases from consultation to conclusion.
Prior to starting Holden & Darby, P.A., Mr. Holden was the supervising attorney for the Department of Children and Families, where he was responsible for the legal department in Lake County.
Mr. Holden has been a practicing attorney since 1982. During his years of practice, Mr. Holden has handled a variety of cases, including but not limited to: personal injury, criminal, bankruptcy, real estate and many other civil litigation areas. At this time, Mr. Holden solely focuses on handling dissolution of marriage, dependency, domestic violence, paternity and other child-related cases.
Mr. Holden is married and resides in Lake County. He and his Wife, Katrina, enjoy spending time with their black lab, Shelby.


Paul W. Darby
Attorney
Paul Darby is a member of the Family Law Section of both the Florida Bar Association and the American Bar Association, and he is a member of the Lake County Bar Association as well. Paul is licensed to practice law in both the Florida state courts, and in the federal courts of the Middle District of Florida. Additionally, Paul serves as a volunteer judge on the Lake County Teen Court and he has previously been certified by the Florida Supreme Court as a County Court Mediator.
Paul earned his Juris Doctor at the University of Florida, Levin College of Law. While at UF Law, he earned a Pro Bono Certificate for assisting members of the community in need of legal services.
Paul earned his undergraduate education at the University of Central Florida in Orlando, where he was awarded a Bachelor of Arts degree in history, summa cum laude, with a minor in German language. He was also awarded a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science, summa cum laude, with a minor in European studies.
Paul is originally from the town of Grant-Valkaria, in southern Brevard County and presently lives in Clermont with his wife Kelly and their son, Gavin.


Jonathan D. Knott
Attorney
Jonathan Knott was born in Winter Park, Florida. He attended undergraduate at University of North Florida in Jacksonville, Florida, where he earned a degree in Philosophy with a minor in Business Administration.
After working as a broker for Merrill Lynch in the retirement services section, Jonathan attended Barry University School of Law. He graduated fifth in his class of one hundred eighty people and was the Managing Editor of the Barry Law Review. Jonathan’s current focus is on assisting clients in all aspects of family law litigation.
